Current Volunteer Opportunities at Word of Life

This ministry requires individuals to be “true worshipers” according to John 4:23-24, individuals must recognize the necessity of strategic spiritual warfare and are willing to assist in ushering God’s presence into the service.

Oversee the children's ministry department, ages toddler to 10 years old. Evaluate, select, and implement age-appropriate teaching curricula and ministry programs. Provide administrative and visionary leadership. Recruit, train, inspire, motivate, and support teachers/volunteers. Remain current on children's ministry trends, teaching methods, techniques, and other innovations.

The church’s purpose to love people is expressed through outreach. You must be a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and be committed to the ministry of word and prayer (Acts 6). Must organize and coordinate in the community to meet the needs by fostering relationships. They must be driven to connect with others to lead them to Christ and the church. Must constantly strive in various ways to target different groups of individuals. 

The Ministry's purpose is to ensure every visitor of Word of Life is welcomed and greeted with a smile and a spirit of genuine acceptance. It is the first impression individuals have of the ministry. Greeters are assigned according to need and or specific events.

Experience in PowerPoint and Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or video editing software. Assistance in creating design and visual support tools.
